PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. JATZIRI has never known a real home. She came from a horrible hoarding case in Riverside, CA. A man was taking in strays into his empty apartment building and unfortunately was not getting the cats fixed so they were all breeding like wild bunnies! By the time we found out about the situation, there were over a hundred cats that needed to be re-homed and we did it! After a year of helping with that situation, we still have a handful of cats that need real homes. These cats are not used to being outside and could really use a second chance to be just regular house cats! JATZIRI is still a bit shy but in the proper environment we truly believe that she will flourish and become beautiful girl! JATZIRI has been with us a long time. We needed to get her teeth removed and now she is finally gaining weigh and eating very well. She loves her can food, She can eat her dry food too, even though she has NO teeth in her mouth, She doesn't really groom (never has) so we brush her every day. She likes to sit in her kennel by the window. JATZIRI needs a home with another loving cat or cat friendly dog. Or she can be the queen of her house. She needs a quite home. One that will understand that she has been through ALOT of heartache. She really loves to be petted and brushed. JATZIRI needs a real hero! JATZIRI is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / GRAY TUXEDO MIX. She is about 6-7 years old and is good with all cats and non - reactive to dogs. She has never been around children. JATZIRI is currently located at our rescue in Hemet, Ca. JANUARY 2022: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any of the PETSMARTS listed below. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application: By Email / In Person / Fill Out Online Form 2. Submit Application 3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. Take the Kitty Home ************************ NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS *********************** You can obtain an application one of 3 ways. The 1st is to physically go to the PETSMART where the pet is located (or the others listed below) and request one from our volunteers. VOLUNTEERS are only there 9 am to 12 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday. Once filled out please return to the VOLUNTEER. You may ask the volunteer if you can briefly meet the cat / kitten. But please be aware some of them might not be comfortable to let you meet the pet due to COVID. PETSMART locations where available applications for WORKIN' WHISKERS can be picked up: PETSMART in Murrieta, Ca off Madison Avenue in Hemet, Ca off Florida Avenue on Palm Desert, Ca off Monterey Avenue The 2nd way is to request an application. The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application CAN be requested and sent by email . It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
