About Hoss

Picked up as a stray. He climbed into my car and onto my lap as if he belonged. Was totally docile and affectionate (grateful?). We took him to our local shelter and he lunged at two different guys. We're all assuming he was just overwhelmed at the time as both before and after those two incidents he us as docile as can be. We were afraid to leave him so we brought him home with us. In order to keep him in our home, I had to take our two dogs up to our loft and barricade us in....a big part of that has to do with one of our rescue dogs being food aggressive and extremely possessive of us. She is an instigator, and we have no idea about him. He seemed to just be curious about our Sadie, but because of her we didn't let them get too close. With us, and with all of the friends we have exposed him to, with the exception of the two dog wardens, he has been an absolute sweetheart!! We are very much in love with him, but cannot live this way indefinitely. Note: we have no way of knowing if he is actually purebred, but he looks very much like he is.
