About DEXTER

HI - I'M DEXTER! I'm a 3-year-old male American Staffordshire Terrier in need of a new home. I'm currently in the Seattle area. I have many great attributes! I walk well on a leash, am housebroken and crate-trained, and I love human affection and attention. I also like kids, and have never shown any bad behavior toward people. I am also eager to please, food and treat motivated, and I love to give kisses. I don't bark or lunge, and am not leash reactive. I also am great when it's bath time! My only negative traits are that I like some dogs, and not others, so I'm not a dog to take to the dog park. I'm also not a fan of cats, and have a prey drive for other critters. I would do best with a single person, a couple, or a family with older kids. I don't need a yard, but if you have a yard, a 6-foot fence is a must as I'm an escape artist. I also love to go on long walks or hikes, so would do great with an active�%A0person or people. I do best when I have structure to my life, and people who love me unconditionally.�%A0
