About Tuck

Adoption Fee: $30
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Tuck is a 3 year old male. He is the sweetest boy and loves everybody! Screaming children scare him and he is fearful of children chasing him, but find it to be a fun game when adults chase him. Tuck would never bite or scratch and I've only heard him hiss a few times in his life (at strange cats/dogs, etc). Most importantly, Tuck is allergic to something in my house or New Jersey. When we moved here, he began developing dry skin and huge sores on his extremeties from locking himself so much. We've tried changing his diet, the litter, psych meds, special detergents and shampoos, everything! The only thing that helps is Atopica, a liquid oral medicine he takes daily. He is great at taking the med but hypersalivates after receiving it, so be prepared with a wet towel to wipe his face. I truly think he'll get better in a new home. I hate to lose this boy but if it means he has a better quality of life with someone else, then he needs to go. He spends a lot of time in a soft cone at my place because my work schedule makes his dosing erratic. He needs a home with a good routine to get meds every 24 hours and would love to have another cat friend or two. He routinely grooms and cuddles with one of my boy cats, but I don't think they're super bonded. Tuck loves attention and will beg for it if you ignore him for too long. He'll greet you at the door when you come home and give you rubs and headbutts all day long. He doesn't even know you yet but he already loves you. He is the most trusting cat in the world! He loves all humans and adores letting in laps and cuddling. He needs windows to look out and a cat tree or two to sleep on. He would do well with another cst friend. I think he's be lonely all by himself since he loves to play chase with the boys.
