About Mustang Sally

'Hello! My name is Mustang Sally, but you can just call me Sally. I am a 10-1 month old or so Pit Bull/Boxer mix that is looking for a furever family! I came to SVASC as an owner surrender because I was a bit too much puppy for the other dog in my home. Now I am looking to find a home that can keep up with me. Whaddya say? At around 10 months old, I still have all of my puppy energy and love to play! I am quite an energetic gal and would make a wonderful companion that is looking for an athletic pal to join the family. After being stuck in the shelter for 2 months, I do have tons of pent up energy and will need a patient and understanding family. I am a handful and I do need some work on my manners. I would be an excellent candidate for doggy training classes. I am very smart and motivated to please, I just need a little work. Since I'm so smart and athletic, I may be a wonderful candidate for agility or some other dog sport! Ask SVASC about some recommendations for me. I can be very rough when playing with other dogs and sometimes I take it a bit too far. I don't seem to understand personal space with other dogs and so while I have been able to make friends with a few dogs at SVASC, I would do best in a home where I am the only pup; it's not that I'm aggressive, just that I can be pretty in-your-face about playing with other pyps. I have a very sweet demeanor and would likely be wonderful with kiddos, but do need some work on rounding out my manners; keep that in mind when applying to adopt, if you have younger kids in the home.
