About BOBBY - $50

GaDaH has received our second batch of saved kitties from Kabul, Afghanistan working with a veterinarian and rescue in KABUL, Afghanistan to help save some of their abundance of stray and abused animals. BOBBY was flown into Washington DC, with 12 other kitties on 16th March and driven another 17 hours up to the rescue in Sebec, Maine. Bobby is neutered, rabies, feline panleukopenia, herpesviral and caliciviral infection, dewormed, monthly preventatives, microchipped, weighs around 6.6 pounds and has an estimated date of birth of 7 May 2020. Bobby arrived at the rescue and is living in the penned area with the ginger kittie family. He doesn't appear to have had much human interaction, and is a little skittish but that is to be expected after all he has been through and where he came from. He is confident with other cats and enjoys hanging out in the cat tree's and playing with the toys. Considering the ordeal that these kitties have endured they have adapted into great companions. Whilst here at the rescue they have been kept indoors, however, I do believe that they had been mostly outdoor in Afghanistan, as they do act like they want to go outside, however, individual families will have to make that decision on their home and living environment and if need be, build or purchase a cat condo to give the cats the best of both worlds. Bobby is available for an adoption fee of $200 each, or $150 each if adopting more than one kittie. We realize that this is considerably more than cats that can be bought online or with local rescues, however, it is important to remember where the boys have come from and understand that $200 doesn't come close to covering even a slight portion of costs incurred. Once you have been approved, we discuss any questions in regards to the dog you are wanting to adopt, then you complete and submit the contract, make payment and then we can work out the pick up / transport arrangements.
