About Casey

My German Shepherd needs rehomed and I don't know anyone in the area. I thought a good place to start would be with you. My dog, Casey, is a 4 year old German Shepherd who is very active. She loves kids and gets along with dogs and cats alike. However, Casey is very protective of our home and yard. Small children play outside our house and she scares them. She has never hurt any people or other animals but she does guard/protect the house in an aggressive way. It's because of this I need to surrender her. We are worried that in an act of what she thought is protection she could hurt someone. She would be great for someone looking for a guard dog! Unfortunately we just do not need that. I love this dog but because of the aggressiveness I have even considered euthanasia but the thought of it makes me sick. I am hoping you can help! Thank you!
