About Calah

Where are you Calah is wondering?? She has been patiently waiting for her forever home. Why has she had very little interest?? She is a beautiful girl that will make her new family very happy!! Look at our beautiful German Shepard Calah!! She comes to us as a owner surrender yet again through Facebook and has now been rehomed twice already. According to her second owner she killed their chickens through no fault of her own but because she has a prey drive. Her second owners also left her outside all the time for the 7 months that they had her. Calah came to us with a ear infection and her 2nd owner did tell us this was an on going problem. Well we are here to not only find a forever home but to help solve the issues with her ears. We are seeing if she may be allergic to chicken or if she needs grain free food. We are also using a holistic remedy that helps with yeast as well as another remedy colloidal silver. All though she is still shaking her head we have noticed that since we have been putting the holistic remedies in her ears she does not cry in pain anymore when we apply them to her ears so we think we are on the right path! Calah absolutely to loves her walks! She could walk all day if you have the time. She does pull a bit at first but calms down once into the walk. Calah loves belly rubs as well after her long walks. She is a VERY smart girl who knows how to open a baby gate, lift up the toilet seat, and open the gate to the back yard. She ABSOLUTLEY needs a secured fenced in yard a privacy fence is preferred. This next home will be her FOREVER home!!! We recommend a home with breed experience only. Calah will need proper introductions to other pets in the home. She needs a adult family and older kids 15 and up would be best. Are you Calah's permanent home? This sweet girl really needs you!
