About Hippo (Zues)

Meet Hippo (fka Zeus)! This sweet, happy boy reminds the staff and volunteers of a hippo, hence his name. This boy's tail never stops wagging. He is such a happy, loving, goofy boy! He was surrendered because his previous owner didn't have time for him. Poor Hippo. He really needs a family willing to spend time training him and exercising him daily. Active owners who are not gone long hours during the day would be best for Hippo- he does have some separation anxiety. We are unsure how he is with kids, cats and other dogs, but because of his size, a home without very small children would likely be best.
