About Leo

Leo is a dedicated 4 1/2 year old Miniature pinscher/chihuahua mix looking for his forever home. Leo weighs 20 pounds and is full grown! Leo is looking for a single owner that will be as dedicated to him as he will be to them! He will need a home where there are limited to no visitors as he gets very protective of his person and gets scared that something will happen to them when other people are around. Leo is a smart boy that is housebroken, good on a leash, knows how to use a dog door, and rides well in the car! He also knows how to sit and 'heel' when on walks. He has been good with other dogs similar to his size in social situations, but he may do best as the only dog in the home. If there is another dog in the home, he will have to meet with them before adoption to ensure they get along! Leo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee of $220 includes a complementary vet visit. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
