About Blu

Blu is a gorgeous cattle dog mix, young adult between 2-4 and weighs about 70 pounds. He came to rescue as a street dog for probably awhile and had to fend for himself that whole time. Blu is a great dog and companion, does well with other dogs his size but can be food/toy territorial. He can also be stubborn so a home that is familiar with the breed and has a firm hand on training is a must. He can be in a home with another dog but the family would just have to know to feed separate. Due to the breed small animals are not a good idea and very young children aren't good either as the breed tends to herd. He seems to be house and crate trained and has average energy for his size and breed. He is currently in Fort Worth, TX but can make the trek to Olympia, WA scheduled to arrive on Saturday April 10th with a pre-adoption which is the only way to secure that he will for sure go home with you! Pre-Adoption means getting your app in, approved and paying the adoption fee to secure the ride. His adoption fee is $450 which covers his neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees.
