About Stella

Stella is a young 3 Year Old house & crate trained, spayed adult female Pitbull. She does very well with all adults male & female and well with children that have been taught to respect a dog's space. Never had any negative human interaction. She is very protective of her territory and has not done well with other dogs, with the exception of the newborn puppy she was raised with and the old dog we had at the time we took her in 2 years ago. Any other outside dogs have triggered a fight to protect instinct, so I would only recommend an owner with a physical fenced in yard and no possibility of altercation with other dogs. It is possible that a trainer may be able to help break her of the drive to protect, but not certain. She would definitely need work in that area. Otherwise, she is a very sweet and submissive dog. She has an average energy level for a 3 year old and listens to commands well. Her last annual vet check-up was in December of 2020. She is current on all vaccinations and is given monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention medication. Stella weighs approximately 50-55 lbs.
