Saving Spudz: A story of a Dog In Need Spudz came into a shelter as a stray in October. His owners never came for him and was placed for adoption. He takes a little while to warm up, but once he does he'll be your best friend. But still is a jumpy energetic (bull terrier) goofball. Because he's so cute and his breed is popular, he was quickly adopted. Unfortunately, because his energy was too much for his adopter the owner attempted to rehome him for free on craigslist. His anxiousness and energy with new people got him in some trouble, so the owner surrendered him to a different shelter. Sadly, because he was involved in a bite he was scheduled for euthanasia. He was confined to his cage for several months until it was too late and his time was up. During his final hour a caring individual answered his call and saved him before being euthanized. To help him suceed, he was taken to a training center to work on his arousal and energetic demeanor to help him be the dog he wants to be and find his forever home. He's now out of time and ready for his true home that is a perfect fit. Because he has already been failed on before we are taking no chances in helping him move to his next chapter on life, his life literally depends on it. He needs a low traffic home without children and an environment to keep him calm and balanced, no over-stimulation or unneccassry arousal to continue his training and handle his energy. He has proven that in the right hands he can be a good dog, and needs the right person to continue to advocate for him and steer him on the path of a fullfilling life.
