This post is going out with a prayer that one special angel or family sees this post considers giving these two boned babies a forever home or will foster them !! Meet a bonded pair Colt and Chara! Colt is a 2 years and 10 months old very loyal and affectionate boy. He was found in the street with a traumatic head injury. He was taken to the vet clinic and his recovery was very long and painful. Colt is now almost blind on one eye, but pain-free and healthy otherwise... After the clinic he was placed in a foster home and little by little he started to get engaged into the normal dog's life. But the most important thing is that he started to trust people again. Colt gets very excited to go for a walk and very good on a leash. He is a medium activity level dog and will be happy with a couple of walks and a bit of play. Colt is house-trained and knows basic commands. He is good with other dogs; he is now living with three other dogs (male and female) and doesn't have any problems. He doesn't pay attention to cats. Colt is about 53 lbs and 21' to the shoulders. He is healthy, his vaccination is up to date, he was tested for heartworms (negative), neutered and has a veterinary passport. Colt is ready to go home! He has suffered a lot in his short life and needs a lot of love! The most exciting thing that happened with Colt in a foster home that he met the love of his life. Her name is Chara. Chara is his soulmate and playmate. They do everything together. Colt and Chara look almost like littermates and have become a bonded pair. They have a lot in common and Chara's tragic story is almost the same as Colt's. Chara was found in the street with the bullet wound; her eye was knocked out and she was covered in blood...in the clinic she got an artificial eye. Luckily for her she was taken to the same foster home as Colt and they immediately became best friends. Maybe they were able to tell each other their stories and it brought them closer! We believe being in this situation has helped them adjust to new life and become more confident. Chara is very kind and affectionate; she is obedient and human-oriented 3,5 year old. Chara is 57 lbs and 20' to the shoulders. She is spayed, vaccinated and healthy. She is also waiting for her family. BUT what we would like for Colt and Chara the most is that they could go to the same family, so they will never live apart. This is our dream and we are convinced it's their dream also. Maybe there is a family who is ready to take both of them? We are keeping our fingers crossed???Colt and Chara are scheduled to arrive to US mid-March and we are looking for families willing to come to JFK airport with us to meet this couple! Let's make the next chapter of these two lovelies a fairytale made in heaven !!
