About Pookie

Hi I'm Pookie, and I'm a 4-5 yo, 31lbs Sharpei x Pincher mix. - I'm playful, loving, caring and very intelligent pup! - I am eager to please my human, so will listen and respond very well. - I LOVE belly rubs, and since I am blind, I sniff my environment a lot to know where I am, but that does not slow me down! - I can be taken with you everywhere and will wait patiently in the car and never destroy a thing! - My fav things to do are play with my toys, sleep and my walks/walks around the yard to explore. - I get weirded out when people come too close to my nose and try to kiss me, because I can't see and it startles me so I will react and tell you I don't like that. - Same thing with dogs, if they get too close to my nose and I can't protect myself, so I would prefer to be an only dog in the house :) - A home without young kids who could scare me would be better for me as well. I would just need a patient and loving individual who will open their heart to my sweet little blind face. ***** Pookie is available for adoption through Little Red Dog Rescue.
