Chip - needs foster or forever home! About 18 months old Male American Staffordshire Terrier Could possibly live with another dog with proper introductions, or would be happy to be your one and only Did well with his initial meeting with several cats Could live with slightly older children (13 years old or older) Up to date with vaccines Neutered Walks well on a leash Knows basic commands Loves people Cuddle-bug Chip has been in our rescue for quite a long time. He came out of a horrible situation when we took him as an owner surrender from a backyard breeder. When he came into the rescue, we discovered he had an obstruction that pre-dated his arrival in the rescue, and he had emergency surgery for that - and, thankfully, survived! Chip is now happy and healthy and ready to find his home! He will need a family to give him the time to settle in and make the transition. We will work with you to make sure that goes smoothly. He will be a loving, wonderful family member! We would like to do a short foster-to-adopt placement for Chip, to make sure that he and the family are a good match for each other.
