About Tanner

Adoption Fee: $100
Domestic Cat
Age: Kitten
Sex: Male

**Courtesy Post** Available in the Dallas Fort Worth area in TX Tanner is the most shy out of the litter and really needs a home with his bff bro Toby. He loves the other cats in his foster home but his fav is Toby. He is an active fellow that is a bit standoffish and likes to observe his surroundings and people. He has never been aggressive but his foster family also does not push him to be anything other that he is right now, which is a very shy cat trying to adjust. He is just slower at coming around than his brothers. He does like to play with the other cats and he will chase a treat if you throw it. Tanner needs a calm home with adults with no children living in the house. He will need extra time to come out of his shell, so he needs an adopter that wants to be apart of Tanner blooming into the cat he was born to be. Allowing this to happen on Tanner's own time is the key and just letting him be and having no expectations of when he will bond with his new family. It will happen, it just takes an adopter that is truly cool with not having a time line and avoiding directing attention to him until he starts asking for it. His estimated dob is 9/15/2020. He is litter trained and has never marked his territory. Questions? Call or email their foster mom Cathie 817-219-6512 or [email protected] Adoption fee $100. Tanner is fully vetted. The adoption fee reimburses for a portion of the cost of all the vetting. Tanner has been neutered, dewormed, felv/fiv tested (negative), core cat vaccinations, rabies vaccination, flea & tick prevention and microchipped with 24 hour Petwatch. If Toby and Tanner where adopted together adoption fee will be reduced to $75 each ($150 together). Rescue story-Toby, Tanner, Benji and Grayson were born to a feral mother that has since been spayed and released. A sweet couple decided to intervene to give her kittens the life their mother never had. The couple took had the kittens in, vetted and kept them while they made sure they were socialized before placing them up for adoption.
