About Wyatt

Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Calling all lab lovers! Meet Wyatt, a 2-year old, 60-pound male lab mix located in the Boston area. Wyatt is being fostered through Survivor Tails Animal Rescue and is available in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire! This smiley, two-year old boy was originally found in a Tennessee barn and is now soaking up any affection and playtime he can get! Wyatt has never met a stranger, and loves swimming, running, and training with his foster family. He loves to go on outings, be they to a state park or the veterinarian. Wyatt has already been housetrained and crate-trained and learned a whole array of commands, including 'sit,' 'stay,' 'come,' 'down,' 'up,' 'paw,' and 'other paw.' His biggest training goal is reining in his excitement so he won't jump up or guard toys. In short, Wyatt is both mentally and physically very driven. Wyatt's ideal home would be with a high-energy, outdoorsy family with the time and commitment to provide lots of exercise and training. As smart as he is, he likes to make or find his own fun when bored, so he will need to be crated when his owners aren't home. Wyatt highly prizes his house, food, and toys, so he will need a pet-free, child-free home to minimize resource guarding. However, when out and about, he loves meeting children, though he will need to be watched to ensure he doesn't jump for joy and accidentally tackle little ones. In short, Wyatt is a smart, loving, and active lab mix who just needs some training and a doting family. He would be an excellent travel or exercise companion.
