About King Tut

'Hiya! My name is King Tut and I'm looking for an active home to call my own! I am a 2 year old (DOB: 04/12/2019) Pit Bull / AmStaff cross that came to SVASC when my mom fell on difficult times and got pretty sick, so she was no longer able to continue caring for me. My pictures don't even begin to do me justice; I'm one big, gorgeous, goofy Pittie boy! I would love to find an active family that will take me with them... well uhm... everywhere! Okay, maybe not everywhere, but I promise that I will be the best travel companion that you could ask for. I have oodles of energy and will need a good outlet for that energy; daily exercise is a must for me. I also need some work on my manners and don't quite seem to grasp that whole personal space thing, but I am a very bright, eager to please boy and should get the hang of it pretty quickly. I previously spent all of my time outdoors and so I have some adjusting to do once I get home. Speak of outdoors, my previous mom reports that I am an excellent escape artist, so I will need secure, wooden fencing or to be leash walked. I do get along with other dogs and love to romp and wrestle with them. I would likely do best in a home with another large dog. SVASC recommends that I meet any current pups before going home. I am said to be good with kids, but am quite large and bouncy, so older kids would be ideal. My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter.
