About Spazz

Spazz is a beautiful and very sweet little cat, she's very affectionate but becomes�%A0 terrified whenever I try to pick her up or handle. I got her about a year ago from a breeder in Germany. When she first arrived she was very scared and nervous but I thought that would change once she got to know me and settled into her new home. She's a very sweet girl and I feel sorry for her because she loves to sleep on my chest at night and wants attention but for some reason becomes very fearful whenever she's touched. I love her dearly but its been a little over a year now and I still cannot handle her at all without getting scratched up. She has never bit me but only tries to get away and scratches in her attempts. I'm a diabetic in my late 60s and it's very hard for me to give her any medication because I have to catch her in a towel, she's knocked me down several times knocking me out twice and sending me to the once ER. I'm not sure why she's like this or if she was abused by her previous owners but unfortunately it's come to the point that I can no longer keep her. I want to make sure she goes to a good home with someone that understands her issues and will maybe be able to help her overcome these issues.
