About Sprite - shy

Sprite is a beautiful grey and white tabby Maine Coon mix girl who is about 7 lbs at 5 years old. Sprite is very shy at first but loving once she trusts you. Sprite is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and on flea prevention. She was rescued from a hoarding situation in Cheatham County. Sprite is great with other cats and calm dogs. She is scared of children. Sprite has tested negative for feline leukemia and positive for FIV but that is really not a big deal. She just needs to be an indoor cat and have an annual checkup once a year at the vet. FIV is not contagious to other cats unless there are deep bite wounds and that is not an issue with Sprite. She has always lived indoors with other cats. FIV does not require any ongoing medication or special treatment. She can live just as long as any other cat. Our rescue currently has a 15 year old FIV positive cat who is still going strong.
