About Haku

Adoptions are scheduled by appointments only after an application has been filled out. If you are interested in adopting, please download an adoption application from our website TORescue.org and submit over to us. Please do not visit any shelters or rescue groups prior to coming into ours. We do this to keep our animals healthy and diseases from entering our rescue. Haku is a high energy and loyal dog who wants nothing more than to please his person. He could play fetch for hours. He loves to have conversations with his people and knows basic commands such as sit, lay down and shake. He is very loyal and once he has bonded to you, will stay by your side. He can be sensitive to sounds and larger dogs, but calms down quickly with reassurance. Haku has been introduced to cats and wants to play with them, but his energy overwhelmed them, so we recommend no cats. Haku would be the perfect dog for someone and/or a family with older (teenage) children. He loves walking and would enjoy going hiking or running with an active person. Adoptions are done by appointment only. All of our dogs are or will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and de-wormed. Come meet our furry friends and see how wonderful and loving they are!
