About Lucy

Lucy is a 6 month old German Shepherd mix : with a 1/4 of Belgium Malinois. She is very sweet natured : will love your affection and simply loves to play. As a puppy, she will need an owner or family who is willing to be consistent with her and invest in training, opportunities for play, etc. She does very well with routines and learns them quickly : she is very intelligent! She also loves to be outside so if you have an active outdoor life and / or a backyard, Lucy will be a great companion and often just enjoys laying down in the grass or sitting and observing what is around her. She also loves to play fetch. And will love to grab and carry sticks no matter the size on your walks. She is a growing puppy and is currently still teething : she can get mouthy when excited or playing so may not be the best fit with small children in the house but I do not see that as being as much of a problem with older kids. With training, I think Lucy will be really great with children as well. She is fully housebroken - no accidents in the home however home-rules will need to be learned when transitioning her and she will still want to steal your socks, etc. and will need outlets for chewing : she has her favorite toys and enjoys getting new ones. Lucy is fully up to date with her vaccines! And that information and records will be passed down to you as well when Lucy is taken under your care. She is a healthy, active and growing pup!
