Kay is truly a sweetheart. Has lived her life outside in a backyard on a chain being bred over and over again. The owners didn't see any problem with that. Even being in heat around males of hers from two previous litters. Although this history of Kay's is heartbreaking she still has a hunger for human love and attention. She is some sort of mix with longer soft fur compared to an American Staffordshire but you can see come of her characteristics also resemble that breed. She is good on leash and doesn't go potty in her crate! So housetraining is already accomplished or would be super easy. She seems to be ok with other dogs but once in a while will give one low growl when she first meets a new dog. We call this a gentle correction as she is letting the other dogs know that she does not want to be mounted anymore or dominated. She seems great with kids and male /female humans. We are hoping that after all she has been through we can find he a safe comfy home for this 3 year old. If someone has cats please let us know if you would like her cat tested.
