About Mocha

Mocha, I will be 6yrs old this year. I am a Stud Australian Shepherd, both my parent's are Aussie's too, but my original owners didn't have any special papers for me. I was adopted from a farm in northern Arizona, to help accompany a disabled Australian Shepherd. My buddy has since past 3 years ago. I am super playful and loving. I love lot's of toy's and like to play catch. I like cat's, and want to meet them, but they don't like it. I have a sister Husky, we play and get along wonderfully! I love and play with my human siblings, when they have time. I am potty trained and crate trained, but I am sure I will need to be shown the way, for a little bit, when I find a new forever home. I become protective when strangers come to my house, but look at my owner's cue's if they are friendly and stop barking. My owner's need to find me a new home, because they don't want me to get hurt when I run out on the walkway, street area to smell all the bushes that I have claimed as my territory. And when a car or people stop to see if I am a lost dog, I run as fast as I can back home, unfortunately sometimes on the actual street.They have tried to train me, but I can't help remark my territory. I jump over the 5 foot walls because I can and love barking at the coyotes and make sure they don't get close to my Owner's home. I love my family and I live on 5 acres, they don't have farm animals, and don't want to move, but I really can't stay. I worry my human Mom and siblings too much. I need a home, preferably a farm with animals, because I would love to get special jobs protecting or herding animals! A home will be good too, as long as it has higher walls than 5 feet and a loving family that will give me some chores, time and walk me several times a day, if they live in a community.
