About Monty

Monty is a playful and loving 2 year old, 65 pound pit bull mix, is fully housebroken, and is mostly blind (he can see some shapes and shadows). His family surrendered him to a shelter because he gets anxious during car rides. He is currently in a foster home near Raleigh, North Carolina. You wouldn't know that he's mostly blind, as he gets around amazingly and does great with stairs in his foster family's 2 story townhome! He has tons of personality and energy and LOVES to play tug of war, play chase with his Kong ball, and snuggle on the couch. He can be reactive when passing other dogs during walks, so best in a home with no other animals or small children due to his energy level.
