About Edmund

My name is Edmund and I am a pure minutiae Australian shepherd from a breeder in Texas. I have been very well loved and trained I am rehoming Edmund to help my dad. He asked me to home him with one of my friends but I don't have anyone interested. I hope to be Facebook or Instagram friends with whoever takes him so I can show him updates if that's ok. Edmund is such a great dog, he use to be my dads service dog but my dad hasn't been keeping up with his training or taking him with him places. I know he will make some family very happy. My dad is having a hard time taking care of his needs. With the pandemic my dad is a major homebody and edmund would love someone who could take him out more. The best things about Ed: - Sweetheart that love to cuddle - Loves riding in the car & walking - Excellent around kids! - Good on leash - Knows basic commands - Easy to groom Tough things with Ed: - sensitive stomach, can't handle people food - Nervous/aggressive around new dogs - Not good around male dogs (He was attached & injured by a German Shepard when he was 2 which started some of these bad behaviors.) Could use some touch up on training and other socialization. He just doesn't get out much right now. We just took him to the vest to get his shots updated and they noticed a lump on his shoulder. It is not cancerous but they said to keep an eye on it. Other then that he is a very healthy sweet guy. Let me know if your interested in learning more about this handsome guy!
