About Dot

Hello, I am desperate to find a home for Miss Dot. My family and I rescued her from a bad home where she was neglected and abused. We have put so much time, energy, and love into her but her temperment has become too much to control. She is aggressive towards adult men and has attacked before. She is not potty trained. Her anxiety is very bad, we have had her on medications for a while but there is next to no difference. When she becomes anxious she will not eat for days. I love Dot, and if not for her aggressive temperment I would happily continue housing her. However after her most recent violent outburst I am faced with a decision no dog owner wants to make: find her a new home, or euthanize her. Dot deserves a good life. She had been through hell and all I want is to see her go to a good home that will love her despite her flaws. She is great with other dogs, cats, and even small children. She just feels very scared and unsafe around men. I hope someone out there will love Dot as much as I do. Please see past her rough exterior, she is such a sweet dog who only want to be loved. Please note that I am only charging an adoption fee to ensure that Dot goes to a good home, and that I will question potential adoptees fervently.
