PACUN was so excited when he saw I was at his kennel to take him for a walk. At 6-years-old, he is quite strong and I was pulled to the yard, but he didn't show interest in the other dogs that barked at him as we passed by. He is enticed by treats, which he takes very gently, and he knows a couple of basic commands. Snuggling seems to come naturally to him. I called him over and he was easy to leash, he pulled on leash to the yard. Once in the yard he wandered the perimeter, seemingly looking for something or someone. When other volunteers would walk by he would go to the fence and greet them with a sweet wiggly body. He would come back and check in with me and enjoy affection, and rolling on his back for more love. He was easy to return to his kennel. He pulled hard to the yard and was mostly sniffing around. He would not take any treats he did sit for me after trying for a bit. He did enjoy affection and would solicit affection when I would sit. He walked better in the back and he really enjoyed it. I put him back with no problem.
