About Izzy

Hi, I'm Izzy! I'm a possible 5 to 7 year old wheaten terrier mix and I weigh around 30 pounds. I was an owner surrender when my family no longer had the time for me, no fault of my own. My dream is to find a family who will give me my forever home that I truly deserve. My ideal family would be an active one, who loves adventure. I love being outdoors with my foster family. Playing fetch and sniffing every little inch of the back yard so a fenced in yard is most definitely needed. I'm learning the joys of playing with my toys and sharing them. I get along with other dogs and seem to adjust easily, as long as they don't play to rough. That goes the same with kids, they would need to understand my boundaries so older kids would be pawsome. I can be a little protective over my food and right now I'm eating separately from my foster siblings. My foster mom says I have a little mischievous side and like to get into the trash. She calls me her little sneaky sneak pup, I call it just being curious. I'm house trained and crate trained. The crate isn't my favorite place and I do fine outside my crate too. Just make sure to clean up before you leave, or I'll do it for you ( wink wink ).
