About Wilma

wilma is here and needs a foster or foster to adopt home. She is 5 years old and 30 lbs. She is now set up in a pen with all the amenities, indoors of course. She is very fearful of people and goes to the back of her crate when approached. She will look at you, and will take food from you, thus she is being hand fed. She is NOT aggressive in the least. I have examined her teeth her feet her tail. She just becomes a statue. She is NOT leash trained and at this point must be picked up to go outside. We have pads set up inside just in case. She is a work in progress, mildly curious about the other dogs at this time. She will need an experienced jack person and someone skilled and PATIENT that can help her blossom. I think she will come around quickly. A fenced yard is a must, and a smaller fenced off area would be ideal for her. This dog is NOT a quick fix, and if you do not have patience and time to commit to her, this is NOT the dog for you. She is currently fostered in Bradenton Wilma is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm positive which the rescue will pay to treat. Wilma is looking for an understanding home that isn't chaotic that will let her adjust at her own pace. A nice quiet home with another quiet dog that can show her the ropes.
