About Lola

Meet Lola - a sweet and loving small pit bull. I found her in the road, drinking dirty water from a car detail shop. She let me pick her up and put her in my car. We posted her on FB looking for her person, and also contacted Animal Control with our contact info. Unfortunately, no one has come forward, she had no collar and is not microchipped. I was unable to keep her at my house because I have 6 indoor dogs, so I am boarding her at my vet's clinic. She is now vaccinated and we just had her spayed last Thursday. I can tell that she previously had at least 1 litter of puppies - and am guessing she is just a little over 1 year old. I don't know much about her or her temperament, but as you can see from the picture, she loves to climb into someone's lap and snuggle! She doesn't know how to walk on a leash, but she is super smart and I'm sure her new person could teach her! She did lunge at my cat, so I'm *guessing* she shouldn't be in a home with cats; I haven't tested her around other dogs to know how she is around them. I would prefer that she go to a home with no small children. She is on the smaller side - 30-40 lbs and is shorter, like a 'pocket pit'. She is currently located in Roswell, NM but we can transport her for the right home. If interested, please send me a message or call me to discuss. A home check is required.
