About Dakota

Dakota is my road dog, sleeping companion, running mate and best friend. Dakota is a pure bred Louisiana catahoula leopard born on October 29th and we brought him home on December 13th. I was living in a big home on a big lot but Dakotas dog dad and I recently split and I am now in the middle of trying to find a home and I know I will not be able to provide him the space he needs. He loves the country life, and would play all day with any dog that will let him. He discovered cows last week and still doesn't know what to make of them. He actually caught 4 birds in a span of 3 days. I felt bad for the birds but proud my baby was living up to his breed. Dakota deserves a loving home. Someone who has the time to properly train him and love him bc he will protect you with his life. My heart hurts more than you can imagine but I have to do what's right by Dakota and I know being locked in a crate inside a small apartment is not the life he deserves.
