My name is Rumi and I'd like to tell you about myself. There are other dogs in my foster home and after I settled in, I decided my favorites are the calm friendly ones! They are really nice and fun to hang out with. Sometimes we even play and chase each other and run zoomies. It has been so much fun to have friends around! I liked all the people that I've met, but at heart I am a mama's girl. I'm really a people dog and love to just hang out and do whatever the family is doing. I should warn you, I really love to be the center of attention! We spend lots of time outside in the garden, and walking in the woods, and I love it! I'm definitely not a fan of rain, but I do like playing with the water if it comes out of the hose when it's warm out - go figure! I'm pretty quiet and only let you know when someone comes to visit or when the neighbor dogs or the other fosters get to barking, then I feel the need to chime in. When I want your attention, I will make this little whiny noise that foster Mom says is annoying. In my defense, if she'd just do what I wanted then I wouldn't need to complain - like when it's time to eat and she hasn't even started making it! I like my kennel and go in when asked. It is a safe, quiet place to sleep and eat my meals but I am also fine left loose. I really like to sneak up on the bed in the mornings and have some snuggle time. Snuggling is one of my favorite things to do! If you are looking for a sweet little girl, I'm the one! From foster Mom: Rumi is obedient, loving, playful and so cute with her brown patches. She is easy to fall in love with and has been a complete joy to foster. She really has no bad habits and will quickly become part of your family.
