About Dakota

This unfortunate boy is a cocker spaniel who lived in horrid conditions for all of his life til he got here to TRACS. He is supposed to be purebred but we don't know for sure. He looks more cockapoo to us. He is likely between 6 and 11 years old if we base it on his eyes, and was taken away from a bad cruelty situation where he was so full of matts he could not walk. His face was very matted too and he could not use his eyes effectively. In fact, he does have one good eye and one eye that is very cloudy. It could be a cataract, but We think it was due to matts in his eye and the irritation it caused. So this boy is seeing the vet on the 3rd of March and getting neutered and getting a dental (although his teeth aren't really all that bad) and getting his eye evaluated. We hope we can get that eye cleared up with medicine. If not, he still has one good eye. So we just are not sure what his age is, but his demeanor is excellent. He is great with all of us and other dogs, and he appears to be house trained too. His adoption fee will be $250.
