'Hello! My name is Dream Catcher (but my foster mom calls me Ruby and I seem to answer to that as well) and I'm looking for my brand new furever family! I came to SVASC with 3 other pups when my previous family moved and was unable to take me with. When I first arrived at SVASC, I was really, really scared. lucky enough for me, my amazing foster mom stepped up to take me home and I've been growing in confidence ever since. My foster mom describes me as being the biggest sweetheart ever; I love to snuggle in for cuddles and as you can see from my pictures, I am quite the relaxed pup. When I'm not curled up for naps, I love going for walks and adventuring. My foster mom thinks that I would be happiest in a home that has a nice yard for me to romp in, but it isn't a requirement. I would be just as happy spending quality time with you on lots of walks and other expeditions. Since I did come in with other pups, we're all pretty sure that I am good with other dogs; SVASC does recommend that I meet any future family members before going home, though. I also seem to do okay with kitties, but introductions should be taken slow and steady. Even though I have made loads of progress in my foster home, I do still get startled by fast movements and loud noises; I do love kiddos, but because of this, I think that I would be best suited for a home with slightly older kiddos. My foster mom says that I'm very smart and a breeze to train, so I would love to learn all about how to be your bff when you take me home! My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter. I am currently waiting for a home with a foster, so I'm not at SVASC. If you would like more information on me or would like to learn how to meet me, please give SVASC a call at (540) 943-5142 or email Erin at [email protected]'
