About Frank

HELP ME PLEASE!!! I WANT TO LIVE FRANK IS IN NEED OF A HOME HES A SWEET BOY WITH A LOT OF LOVE TO GIVE. Frank is five years old and was rescued from a kill shelter after being surrendered by his owners. Frank adores women and average sized men, but is fearful of larger, bulky men. He loves attention and will nudge you as soon as you stop petting him. He entertains himself with his squeaky toys, but has ripped through several stuffed animals. He is very intrigued by cats and will gently poke them with his nose while getting acquainted. He enjoys being outside as much as possible, soaking up sunshine and spying on the neighbors. He needs a family that has experience with formerly abused animals and is able to maintain structure when training. He is treat motivated and will chew through a dental treat almost as fast as you can hand it to him. Frank is an intelligent pup that noses through his toy box to locate the one he wants and can find a way to wiggle under a baby gate. He has been reactive towards other dogs when on leash outside, but once he is neutered that may change. He is heart worm positive and will need treatment before he can safely be neutered. He has some separation anxiety and wants to be with you as much as possible. He does well in the car and loves nature walks.
