About Cole

Cole is almost 11 months old. He turns 1 on April 5th. He is the sweetest most loving dog and this is the hardest thing we ever had to do. We are usually the people to rescue the dogs, not give them up for adoption, but Cole is very jealous, and wants to hurt our older smaller dog if he comes near my wife or I. Outside in the yard they're okay, he gets somewhat aggressive, but wont jump on the other dog to try and hurt him like he does while inside the house. We've worked on this for months now, but our older Boxer mix needs to be carried everywhere in the house because he's so scared Cole will jump on him. Before it would happen and they'd go back to being friends, but since Cole grew, he's probably almost 65 lbs now our older 30 lb dog is so scared, and its not fair to either of them to keep them separated at all times, and we cant gave our Boxer mix, hiding terrified all the time he's in the house. He's potty trained, and we've been working basic training commands with him since we got him at 8 weeks, and hes very smart but stubborn. Some days, he's perfect. His biggest problem is jumping on the counter or jumping on other people when they come in the house. Cole is neutered, and he will come with all his stuff that includes, crate, toys, food, and more. We would really like Cole's forever home to be familiar with the Boxer breed and what they need. We believe he would do best in home that he doesn't have to compete for attention with other pets. He has been around babies and young kids for a few hours at a time and never had an issue, but Im not sure if he'd start getting jealous of a child in the house like he does with our dog and cat. He will make someone a great pet.
