About Bear

Howdy! I'm Bear, a sweet, laid-back, smart brindle 20-pound Mountain Cur mix fella who was born in June 2020. I'm solid brindle with the exception of a white locket on my chest. I'm amazingly low-key for still being a pup, and I do great with kids as well as all dogs. Yes, I'm still a gangly teenager who should grow to be 30-60 pounds as an adult. Mountain Curs are extremely intelligent and eager-to-please hunting dogs who do whatever job our master desires. Mountain Curs can live to be 14-16 years old, and for a healthy and happy dog, the key is daily exercise. I'd welcome stretching my legs every day on a walk or some frisbee-throwing in the dog park to exercise me both physically and mentally. I was rescued when I was cold, starving, and alone during the Arctic Storm Uri, and I'm so glad that the Good Samaritan who found me took me to Miss Donna. A young fella like me had no business being outside in such long-term freezing weather! Now I'm fully vetted and undergoing puppy kindergarten, which are so critical for us young ones. I'm safe, warm, and full of groceries now, and I know Miss Donna will find me a fantastic new home. I hope that my shiny brown eyes will attract you to inquiring about me. Once we meet, I guarantee you that my mushy personality will melt your heart. I hope you don't mind a few puppy kisses to wet your face! Bear is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, on heartworm preventative, and fully trained. His adoption fee is $300 for puppies 9 months and younger. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
