About Cricket

Meet Cricket! This lovely lady is an approx 3 yr old doberman mix. She looks very much like someone took a red dobie and shrunk her down into a convenient 36 lb frame. Cricket was recently found as a stray down south. We don't really know her story but she must have been someone's dog fairly recently as she was still sporting some sutures from a recent abdominal surgery. The vet suspects it is likely a spay incision. Sadly she was not reclaimed and spent a little time in a foster home there before making the trek to us. Cricket tested well with other dogs and enjoyed playing with them but she is definitely nervous here with the recent changes and still get acclimated with both people and dogs she doesn't know, nothing negative, she just hasn't come out of her shell enough to really want to play and be silly. We have no doubt that ones she is settled in she will become more playful and goofy. She loves to give little tail wags and sit in your lap, if you give her a minute to come to you. Cricket is up to date on vet care including vaccinations, preventatives and tested heartworm negative.
