About Famous Amos

My Famous Amos is a very lovable American Bulldog. He is 18 months old and has been with our rescue and sanctuary since he was just 6 weeks old. He has been raised with both large and small breeds, young and old and kitties too. He does well with all but he loves to play. The older ones do get on him every now and then and the kitties too as he gets a little carried away with his antics. lol.. But he's still a pup. Amos loves to talk but he knows what a shock collar is. we have never shocked him, only the vibration and the beep sound. Usually all you have to do is let him see the remote and he of course will get the last word in and give you those sad popeye eyes and lay down.. He talks mostly though and doesn't always bark. Famous Amos loves to run and runs around the yard a half dozen times before settling down to pee. He is housebroken and crate trained but he will pee if you don't pay attention to his call.. He isn't the quietest in his crate,which is usually where he gets into the most trouble.. lol.. he loves toys and he will jump although you just need to push him away lightly with your knee and tell him no. He is our hearts and if we didn't have recent medical issues to where we have to thin out our rescues he would not be going anywhere. Anyone who meets Amos falls in love after about the first half hour. he doesn't meet a stranger.. He loves everyone.. not recommendeed for a toddler though as he would knock them down. there is not a mean bone in this boys body..
