About Nitty

Boxer mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Looking for an energetic and playful pup without all the high maintenance of housetraining a puppy?? Nitty is your man! Nitty is a 1-2 year old bulldog mix who currently weighs around 60#. Nitty has made tremendous progress in his foster home as far as manors go, and with consistency gets better each day. He is easily excited and is always ready to go! Nitty is fostered with 2 other dogs and respects them during play time. He loves to play tug, fetch his ball or chew on antlers. He has come to learn how to settle down in the home when the older dogs are done playing. Nitty is crate trained and house broken. We are working on leash manors as he is always looking to greet people. He has interacted with children and was even fed by hand with them. Keep in mind that he is large and playful, and while he means no harm, there would need to be boundaries set in a home with small children uneasy on their feet. He has met the outside cat and loves to chase her in a playful way, but may be too much excitement to live with in the home. Nitty is neutured, UTD on preventatives, and successfully treated for HW. If interested in meeting Nitty, please complete an application. Meanwhile he'll be patiently waiting in Carlisle, Pa. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
