About Chester

Chester is a 6 month old hound mix who has so much love to give. �%A0After living his entire life outside, he is slowly adjusting to life indoors. �%A0Chester is extremely shy and needs an experienced owner.�%A0 He loves dogs but would not be a good fit for a home with small children and his current foster home doesn't have any cats. He is incredibly playful and loving with his foster mom and stays by her side to snuggle all day long. �%A0He has a very silly side and makes his foster mom laugh all day with his sweet puppy personality. �%A0He loves playing with other dogs and is so gentle with both his foster mom and her dog. Zero aggression ever, even when a toy or treat is taken out of his mouth. He needs potty and leash training but is very smart; so he will learn quickly. �%A0Chester is a true companion and bonds deeply and quickly but he does require extra time to warm up and feel safe. He will need a patient dog experienced parent to show him love and teach him how wonderful it is to be a �%A0dog. �%A0He needs a home with another friendly confident dog as a role model.�%A0 NOTE:�%A0 we cannot consider applications for the city because Chester would not do well with hectic environment or the noise level.�%A0 He is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. The adoption fee is $500. We require a fully fenced yard. We do not adopt to homes with electric or invisible fence because it is not as safe for the dog.
