About Kia

Local Adoption Only! Meet Kia! She is an 8.6 pound mixed breed pup who is about 10 weeks old. She has the most expressive eyes and a little tattered ear that just adds to her charm! Kia came to us after the rest of her litter was adopted. Whoever overlooked her really missed out, because she is a little sweetheart who absolutely loves everyone! Her favorite place to be is attached to her foster mom, or whomever she is with at the moment. She LOVES nothing more than to be loved on and is very vocal when she wants attention! Kia loves getting under the blanket on the couch and snuggling. She is a very good leg warmer! She enjoys chew toys and is happy to play with her toy next to her person. She also enjoys playing with the other pups in her foster home and would really enjoy having another furry buddy to play with. Kia definitely would prefer to not be alone. She would not be good in an apartment or as an only dog because she can get pretty loud when she is on her own. Kia loves to walk on a leash with her person and another dog, she happily bounces along like a little bunny. As much as she loves her walks, a fenced yard would be preferred for her because being on a leash doesn't give her quite enough activity to satisfy her puppy energy! She is working on her potty training and is doing a great job when taken out regularly. Kia currently sleeps in a puppy playpen at night, but would most likely prefer sleeping cuddled up next to her person once her house training is complete. Kia has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Her third set of puppy shots is on February 22nd and her spay will be scheduled at our vet as soon as she is old enough and is covered by the rescue. Kia would be great for someone who is looking for a sweet little shadow to keep them company all day long! Applicants should live within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. This is to ensure that Kia gets her last set of shots and her spay as our vet. *We do not have a facility. All of our dogs are in private homes in and around the Pensacola area. *To meet a dog or be considered for adoption you must first submit an adoption application for review.
