This little guy is a sweetheart! Dexter was so scared, hiding and was growling out of fear when he got to his foster's house. As he's come out of his shell he has made fast friends with the resident dog. They now spend hours playing tug of war, doing 'zoomies' through the living room and hanging out taking naps. He does have some fear of men and still startles easily around them, but has come a long way in just a week, but his preference is the women in the house. Dexter goes in a crate at night and sleeps there. He is potty trained ** unless it's snowing and cold, then he is not a fan. He doesn't want to wear a sweater but will quickly crawl under his blanket to get warm once he's back inside. Dexter tends to hide little pieces of food around the house to save for later, possibly a product of the environment he previously came from. He would probably do best in a home with at least one woman and would do great in a home with kids or another dog to play with him.
