About Bea

Bloodhound
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Bea joined our family as a baby In 2015. We lived in Powhatan at the time and she and our other dog, a husky who was 5 at the time, ran in our backyard all the time. When we moved to Midlothian in 2016 we did not have as much land and had her outside a lot on a long runner, well, our neighbors did not like her 'howling' she has a loud howl ( as a bloodhound that's normal) and she likes to howl at anything she sees or hears (naturally). She also was a little too aggressive with our husky one afternoon over a piece of ice and bit the husky, needing stiches. After the bite and the constant complaining from the neighbors, We decided to move her to our work and she became our 'shop girl' she has her own house outside with a bed, food, toys and so on, We own a transportation business with over 100 employees so she is the life of the party at work so to speak. She is constantly playing with anyone who comes to our shop, she gets all kinds of treats, and comes inside the shop at night time. We are moving our shop to Ashland and it is a much bigger area and I am just worried she will not get as much attention as she deserves. If we can find her a home where she can run free it would make my heart happy. She is a sweet girl and very loving, She loves to get her belly rubbed and ears rubbed. She has not been to the vet in probably a year. We do have papers on her and she is microchipped and she is AKC registered. I would like to know who adopts her and still be able to see her at times if that is even possible.
