About Teacup Miss Mona

Oh, Miss Mona! This tiny thing is the perfect match for anyone's wardrobe. Scruffy but in a stylish way that makes everyone want to stop and admire her. This little girl will look simply adorable being sported in your arm or in the latest handbag. She's right around five pounds (probably under) and only about a year old. Mona loves to be with you. She's only about a year old so still has the playful energy of a pup, but she loves snuggles too. She has been great in her foster home with other small dogs (large dogs may punt her without knowing it), and cats are bigger than her so not a worry either. Children in her new home should be 12 or over, old enought to be respectful and know how to properly handle such a delicate thing. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
