I'm about 3 years old. I arrived at the shelter as an Owner Surrender on 2/19/2021. Midnight has been red listed due to behavior observed. From the Shelter: 'Behavior Notes: DOG WAS CHARGING, BARING TEETH, AND AGGRESSIVELY BARKING WHEN APPROACHED. HAD THE DOG OWNER PLACE THE DOG INTO THE UNIT. DOG WAS CHARGING THE CAGE AND ATTEMPTING TO ATTACK ME FROM INSIDE THE CAGE AS WELL. DOG WAS SURRENDERED AS IT KEEPS GETTING OFF THE PROPERTY BY DIGGING UNDER THE FENCE AND/OR CLIMBING OVER THE FENCE. PER DOG OWNER, DOG TRIES TO ATTACK PEOPLE WHEN RUNNING AT LARGE AND HAS HAD MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS. Hides in cubby, barking, growling, baring teeth. Tried to offer treats, dog has no interest, is fixated on charging cage. Approached kennel and dog was in his cubby, would not come out when called or when enticed with treats. Went to the cubby's door and he finally went to the front of the kennel. Offered more treats that he did not take, stiff body, whale eyes, licking lips, low growling. Unable to safely take out today. Owner Surrender Notes: Aggressive towards strangers, Respectful around teen-aged kids, Doesn't play with adults, Plays very rough with kids, Tolerant of small dogs, Is anxious when left alone, barks too much, escapes chain linked fences.
