About Oraon

Welcome to Orson to CCPAL Rescue. Orson is a 5-month-old Shepherd/Plott Hound mix puppy. He should be a 60-70-pound dog full grown. Orson is submissive at the rescue with other dogs. He is affectionate and active but not over the top. He is nice and relaxed when we were working with him. He is good with other dogs and ready to learn the ropes. He would be great with a family with children. We always like them to be 8 or older. He is tall and lanky now but he will fill out and because a gorgeous adult dog. He has a very attractive coat and due to his breed mix should be a very trainable pup. He hasn't experienced much we can tell so we are giving him new experiences at the rescue. His best home would be one that is calmer and not a hustle and bustle city family. He would like a calm and gentle handler or another confident dog to help him learn the ropes. He is getting his puppy vaccines at the rescue and will be ready for his forever home in a few weeks. Most of the dogs will be able to be transported in March. He can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to deliver him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. .
