About Sox

Please meet Sox. Sox is a 7.5 year old female Labrador/ Bernese Mix, weighing in at a 110 pounds. Sox was adopted through Labrador Friends of Arizona 7 years ago and has been well taken care of and loved for 7 years. However, Sox is now seeking a new forever home due to unforeseen circumstances. Here is a little bit about Sox from her current owners: Sox has a big heart and she really loves belly rubs, ears scratched and playing tug of war. She is not a big swimmer but loves to lay on the baja step. She will alert you when someone comes to the door with her deep bark that will scare off people who are up to no good. She can be a little jealous, as she likes to the be center of attention. She will be at your side, or at your feet, if you are just lounging or doing yard work, she likes to be involved. She gets energy out by chasing and barking at the birds, she has been known to catch a few who have tested her skills by flying too low in the yard. She does not like Hats for some reason, we believe it is due to them shading the face and she cannot See who is coming to visit. She can also pull on the leash as she is as very big girl. She is house broken, uses her doggie door, and loves her kennel (this is her safe place ) she likes to sleep in there during the day. We just leave the door open and she comes and goes. At night she has a bed in the master that she sleeps on. If you close your doggie door at night and she needs to go out, she will wake you up. We have never had an accident in the house with her. She does pretty well with commands, sit, stay, laydown, shake. She gets excited when people come to visit, she will bark, smell and then expect petting. She is on grain-free food, as she has allergies.
